PLACEMENT TEST
To participate in the Italian language exercises, it is necessary to take the placement test, which is useful for assessing the students' level and defining the path to learning or improving Italian.

- The results of the placement test will be published in the NEWS of the CLA website.
WHEN TO TAKE THE ITALIAN TEST
Scheduled 5 SESSION TEST CALLS :
- JANUARY (opening of online bookings on the CLA website in December)
- FEBRUARY (opening of online bookings on the CLA website in January)
- JUNE (opening of online bookings on the CLA website in May)
- JULY (opening of online bookings on the CLA website in June)
- SEPTEMBER (opening of online bookings on the CLA website in July/August)

HOW TO BOOK THE TEST
In order to book a test during the opening periods of an appeal, it is necessary to log in to the CLA Private Area using the same credentials as the SOL and, independently, proceed to select the chosen date, booking up to two working days before the test.
In the event of being unable to take the booked test, students are required to cancel their booking within two working days prior to the test. Any failure to cancel will be recorded as an absence and will not allow any subsequent dates of the same call to be booked.
Below is the procedure for making a test booking:
- Step 1. Log in with your SOL credentials (username and password) obtained after payment of matriculation fees.
- Step 2. Click on Reservations or on Book a test (2a) to enter the current session (e.g.: Winter Session - JANUARY 2024 call - A.Y. 2022/2023) and on the next page (2b) select the test(s) you wish to take from the proposed list and click on the Proceed button.
- Step 3. Confirm your registration for the selected exams by clicking on the Sign Up button. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to your institutional e-mail address (nome.cognome@studenti.unipg.it).
At the end of the booking procedure, the student will receive a confirmation email at the institutional email address name.surname@studenti.unipg.it.
Correctly made bookings can always be viewed in the Home section of the CLA Private Area.

HOW AND WHERE TO TAKE THE ITALIAN TEST
On the day of the test you must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled starting time, bringing with you
- RECOGNISATION DOCUMENT with valid photo.
- PERSONAL HEARPHONES/HEADPHONES with audio jack (no Bluetooth, no Apple): not compulsory.
The ITALIAN language test will take place at the CLA in PERUGIA.
LEVEL test
The test consists of a written part (usually on a PC) and a subsequent oral part, which will be taken on the same day.
Access to the oral part is subject to reaching the admission threshold established on the basis of the score obtained in the written part.
The test is only passed if the sum of the scores obtained in the written part and the oral part reaches a pass mark.
RULES OF CONDUCT TO OBSERVE WHEN TAKING THE TEST
All students are required to comply with the rules of conduct for the tests. In the event of violation of these rules, the test will be cancelled.

It will only be possible to view the test results at the end of the tests by accessing the CLA Private Area. The CLA Didactic Office, at the end of each roll, will communicate the test results to the Welcome Office and to the respective Student Offices.
VALIDITY OF TESTS
Please note that the validity of CLA tests, internal to UNIPG, is 2 years from the date of passing.
HOW TO RENOUNCE YOUR TEST GRADE
Any student who intends to decline the grade obtained must notify the Didactic Office no later than the end of the roll by sending an email to didattica.cla@unipg.it.
The renunciation will be noted in the CLA TEST Platform and communicated to the Departmental Lecturer in case of continuation.
